My Name is Shamaria Jordan and I am the founder of Black Girl Advocate, an apparel company dedicated to making spaces safer for black and brown girls!
we sell apparel and we use the profits to fund the mentoring programs that we do with black girls in the Twin Cities. we have a plethora of opportunities for black girls to discover their voice to nurture their talents, their aspirations, and to be connected to other black women through college and career tours.
Our End Goal!
For girls to be able to advocate for themselves, for their own needs. That could be in relationships, academically, financially, and everything in between.
We desire to develop sisterhood among black women because you have that positive relationship with someone older than you then you have a positive relationship with your peers.

Who has the desire to have someone older than them there to help them through decisions that they're making in their lives.
we have a middle school group for 7th and 8th graders. Along with our highschool group for 9th through 12th graders.
